# Mission

Peptype’s mission is to turn everyday typing into meaningful game progress. The goal is to create a simple and engaging experience where regular computer activity becomes part of gameplay, progression, and rewards. Peptype makes it easier for players to stay active, grow over time, and get more value from what they already do every day.

#### Vision and Product Direction

**Peptype is building a browser-native gaming ecosystem where the two core pillars are:**

* Community-driven meta
* Player-owned economies

The goal is to make ownership and progression feel natural on the internet, starting with users who already live online every day.

***

Peptype acts as a digital homebase where anyone can show up, mint a Typer, and start progressing through real activity: working, chatting, learning, and creating. There is no separate “grind tab” and no forced routines.

* The keyboard is the input layer
* The browser is the game world
* The Typer is the on-chain identity that evolves with activity

***

#### Design Principles

Peptype is built by iterating with the community and testing core assumptions. Key questions guiding development:

* Onboarding: What if a game could introduce the next wave into Web3 without overwhelming them?
* UX and culture: What if crypto felt nostalgic, meme-native, educational, and immersive instead of cold and complicated?
* Co-building: What if developers and players could co-build the meta through aligned incentives and a living economy?
